Ho Hum, Diddly Doo

Not doing much right now. Christian is helping Mark out with another track day (has it been a month alreday???) so I went down the hill this morning. I went to the gym as I've only gone once this week and I'm feeling like a big fat heffa, then I went for some retail therapy. I found a lovely dress that is rather flattering so I bought two, one white and the other purple (I pause here for Boo to cringe over the colours ;-P ) plus some more gym gear as I've only really got trackie daks and jumpers, no summer gear. Then I went to Barb's place where we dumped the kids with Mikey and went to Officeworks. Have I ever mentioned that I have a stationary fettish? We had much fun and many stationary orgasms later we headed off to some furniture shops. I don't know why, but I rather like browsing around furniture shops.

Anyway, here's the pics from the show I promised.

Well, I'm sure you all know about 'the line' by now. Smerk and I thought we'd have some fun with it. The joke was on us however when we realised we'd written it on upside down...

Smerk, looking pretty as usual.

Chira and Caleb (who you can't really see) in the helicopters.

Perrrrrrdy fireworks!

Look at the pretty colours!

*keeps an eye on Mort, in case he gets any "ideas". . .*

So, did you get to ride in the little helicopters or anything like that, Nettie?

Hot damn Smerk!

Who's kids are those?

We have fireworks every forth of July here but they're never very good. I want to do them some day so I can make a real show.

I went on one ride Acci and it's called the Superbowl so no cute helicopters for me. I would have gone on more rides but they're such a waste of money I couldn't be bothered. I can get my thrills from a trackday if I want them...

The kids are my neices and nephews Lucien.

I'm surprised Mort's not seen pics of me before. Oh well...now he has...

And what a picture it is, too, Smerk! Woohoo! Got any more like that, Nettie? ;-)

We never really get much in the way of fireworks here (for which I'm actually rather glad). The occasional person will set some off for the Fourth of July or New Year's, in spite of it being illegal. And the baseball stadium will sometimes set a few off for whatever reason. But the big organised shows for the holidays are usually rather pitiful.

Oh, and Nettie, you'll have to come over here some time in the Summer so I can take you to the amusement park at Ocean City and you can ride the rides there. If it's your money's worth that you're wanting, you'll be getting what you want; it's practically guaranteed to be an experience that you'll need at least a week to fully recover from. . .

And your word verification program is cussing at me in Latin. How odd.
