Off track...

Ok, in my last post I promised pics of Christian's 'off' as it's called and I intend to deliver. But first I'll shed some light on how it came to be.

Christian was going down the long straight and at the end he realised he hadn't braked early enough or hard enough to make the hard left turn. He knew that if he tried to turn all he would do is send the car into a very painful series of rolls, so he had no choice but to continue braking whilst plowing into a field. Here's the results.

His poor Levin tyre-deep in mud.

His tracks after being towed out.

The skid marks of his entry into said paddock.

Christian showing us where he came to a stop, a mere three metres away from this...

Awwww, look at the shame on his little face! Was he trying too hard to be Jenson Button? BTW some bad news (if you haven't heard) I know you're a Top Gear fan so....here goes. Richard Hammond was seriously injured this morning whilst trying to top 300mph in a dragster at an airfield, he's stable in hospital but has suffered some pretty bad head injuries, apparently only one parachute deployed and it veered off the track then flipped. I know it sounds a bit like a poor joke but its not I assure you.

No Mort, Christian isn't a Button fan, only me. He prefers drivers like Neil Bates and Jarno Trulli.
Actually, in the scheme of things, he did the smartest thing. Only an idiot would have turned so they didn't look silly by plowing into a field. If he had turned, his car would be a wreck and in all likelihood, so would have Christian. It would have been a very Webber like roll though!

If you're ploughing a field, there's certain bits of farming equipment you're meant to use...
