Maybe it was a lobster. They tend to migrate across Australia at this time of the year, I believe, in big flocks that cover the sky. It might have grown tired, flown too low, and been hit by an auto.
And I suppose I ought to try to dig out my "Roadkill Cafe" shirt some day. . .
No Oppie, no inside joke or picture, I just passed something squished on the road that looked like a lobster. Keep in mind that I live at least an hour's drive away from a body of water capable of sustaining lobsters.
If I could be any animal I chose, it would be a wolf.
Wolves are pack animals, fiercely loyal, they protect their own.
They mate for life, love to play and don't take themselves too seriously.
The life of a wolf is a good one.
